What saddens me is that Maddow turns out to be as useless as most of the rest of the crew there. Badwagon climber on-er, she just goes with whatever outrage of the day is and follows the day's stories from the other useless repetitive lineup there at MSNBC, and juts in the last stupid word of regurgitation of the day.

This 'No Drama Obama' schtick has run its course.

Why, oh why is Pres. Obama such a non-passionate fighter for his own agenda?

I'm very tired of Obama's "coolness."

Barack Obama can put these faux scandals to bed by the end of this week if he would get out in front, let some people in his administration 'resign' and recommit himself to transparency and openness ... he ought to do a two hour press conference and answer all questions to all comers.

I think Matthews is correct in his assessment -- with three and half years left as President, Barack Obama should finally be the bold leader we need.

Yes Obama does need to defend himself and his administration from all these fake scandals.

However, instead of having orgasms at the prospect of an Obama scandal, Matthews could actually do some objective "reporting" and inform his audience of the dubious nature of the "scandals".

I heard him for about 2 minutes yesterday before I decided he wasn't going to do anything but breathlessly blurt out republican talking points and trash Obama as a wimp and turned him off.

and what over? The White house had nothing to do with with what started under Bush appointees in the IRS. Are you making an allegation an Obama appointee initiated the IRS Policy beginning in 2010?

Are you blaming Holder for the criminal investigation on AP reporters? Are you blaming the president for Benghazi and these supposedly Talking points? Who do you want to resign over this?

Chris Matthews is dead wrong again. He has went ballistic and shown his colors one time too many for me. The Dude was on Morning Joe with his tirades this morning calling for people to be fired and resign. He is no different than the rest of his pals in the media. And the Dude took another shot at Liberals this morning. I don't see why Liberals give this Dude a pass? And he did the same when it came to the Budget and CPI. Matthews is a phony.

Just checking back now ... well, good for Obama, the Acting IRS Commissioner is gone.

So, that's an example of who should be asked to resign.

And, sorry, Matthews is correct. But, maybe as someone who has watched politics from the 1060s, maybe I have the same kind of longer range perspective as Matthews does. Even if I don't like my own conclusions based on political experience, I know often times what tends to happen and what tends to work.

With these faux 'scandals' it is clear to me (and apparently Chris Matthews, too) that Pres. Obama has to get out in front of them, act decisively, and be very forthcoming. If he does that, these dust-ups could actually hurt Repuglicans in 2014, the same way obsessing about impeachment hurt them in 1998.

I gave up on the Cable News Last Week when I realized they are all salivating at the potential of a scandal... Summer usually being a slow time and all. I'm sick of seeing all those nasty Republicans constantly spouting off on anything that can get the most air time. It's disgusting.

First it was Morning Joe yesterday where the Obama bashing was just unrelenting. If I didn't know any better, I would have thought I was listening to Fox & Friends.

Now, Chris Matthews. First it was the "scandals" where he was acting no better than a Fox talking head. Then, after the President spoke and he was praising the President's handling tonight, he went on a rant about Obama and Benghazi, spewing off questions for the administration.

Current TV is looking better and better!
