Any chance the press shield law will now pass?

If so then that should put everything to rest and I would think make the AP happy. If Republican's fight it then the public spotlight is moved to them. We can argue all day long about whether the justice department screwed up and maybe they did but that is in the past now so let focus on fixing the problem for good.

The Republicans will fight it. They pushed for the investigation of the AP leak.

The only thing that will change Republican minds: If the press boycotts them. By that I mean the Sunday talk shows stop inviting John McCain and Lindsey Graham every single week.
