Memo to Bush Administration Leftovers on Fox: Shut Up

Memo to Bush Administration Leftovers on Fox: Shut Up

By The Daily Take, The Thom Hartmann Program | Op-Ed

Fox so-called News is heavily populated by leftovers from the Bush administration. Former political hit-man Karl Rove, former press secretary Dana Perino, and former Defense Secretary Don Rumsfeld are all over the network. And they're all yelling about how terrible the Obama Administration is.

I have a very simple message for them. In the inimitable words of Rush Limbaugh: Shut up.

Until Dana Perino will hold Bush accountable for his failed response to Katrina and the financial collapse, you sound really pathetic when you complain that Obama takes no responsibility for the IRS.

Until Don Rumsfeld holds Bush accountable for intelligence failures that let the attacks of 9-11 happen and lies he told us about Iraqi WMD, you really can't be taken seriously when you complain that Obama should be held responsible for slow Benghazi intelligence. It wasn't even that slow, a few weeks maybe. At least Obama was cautious. Bush should have tried that out, instead of charging us into Afghanistan and Iraq without even having proper body armor. ..........................(more)

They need to STFU and go away, or, better yet, go to jail.

Crimes were committed, and no one has been held to account for them.

just Iraq, not Afghanistan... It's over $1 trillion for just Iraq.

Imagine that $1 trillion adding to the stimulus of 2009, instead of the "measly" $787 billion or so that most economists said was too small.

Plus, even if 9/11 did happen, Afghanistan probably would have been better handled by groups of special forces hunting bin Laden. (weren't special forces in Afghanistan in the last days of the Clinton administration, only to be recalled by Bush when he took office? Or, is my memory faulty?)
