Based on what I've observed for several years, a new political party is definitely needed, and I propose the founding of The Moronic Party. Membership would be limited to those who have no clue whatsoever about reality, and who vote based on that lack of knowledge. It could run candidates like Michele Bachmann for any office, without interfering with the actual business of government.
Moronicism is the new political movement in the United States. Let those who fit embrace it.

(32,818 posts)We had a go at it up here. The Progressive Conservative Party proved too Progressive for some people so they schismed and created the Alliance Party (briefly the Canadian Reform Alliance Party until someone decoded the acronym) which split the right, allowing the Liberals to form a government. The Alliance imploded with infighting and the PC's reformed.

(11,495 posts)The tea party could just change their name since they fit your description to a T! Or they could just put "Moronic" in front of tea party, or maybe they could call themselves the "Tea Party Morons"! Anyway you look at it the tea party would be the base of such a party!

The question of our time is what future are we building.
I feel the real morons are those who ignore the earth's reaction to our constructs. But then, I'm not a moron. Right?

(62,325 posts)own, it attached itself to OUR Party. Now that we have identified the parasite, we are working to help them join the Republican Party where they belong, or they are welcome to try to form a real 'Third Way Party' since the claim to believe their ideas are not as 'retarded' as the party's they have latched on to.

I think wise people recognize that your new party is already established and many citizens are members of that moronic party, as I described above, and are incredibly stupid in their beliefs that our society is sustainable.
Realizing that that fact probably scares the shit out of you thereby making you ignore the idea, I expect nothing more than included in your previous replies.
