Matthews has absolutely disgusted me over the last few days. He's suddenly OUTRAGED! SHOCKED! "Imagine if W had done this!" Hey, fuckface! W DID THIS! And you never batted an eye! This is an agency enforcing U.S. laws and IRS regulations regarding non-profits! Why isn't there anyone in the news media willing to look at this angle? Why can't Matthews address the fact that only 1/3 of the investigations were directed toward Tea Party groups?
Chris Matthews has one finger in the wind, and one thumb up his ass.

(31,464 posts)Lawrence tried to explain why this was all bullshit. Joe would literally not let him speak. Cut him off, told him had five seconds to make his point, meanwhile talking over him the whole time. O'D had a printed copy of the LAW pertaining to the IRS investigations, but Joe shouted him down, told him not to read the law, said he had to shut up. It was an amazing display. I don't know what "Joe at his worst" actually is, but this morning was probably a good example.

I'm a little surprised that Lawrence didn't outshout Joe.
Lawrence will get the last laugh (and the Last Word).
