Am I the only person really hoping the Republicans impeach Obama?

Without Senate control, the only effect would be to make them look bad. Obviously, I'll be laughing on the other side of my face if they take the senate in 2014, but that doesn't look likely.

And I can think of few things that would contribute more to the Democrats retaking the house than a vote to impeach the president.

impeaching every Dem prez over stupid BS. I hope they don't. It would be a waste of money and time, and the Prez has so much more important things to do other than accommodate their BS.

Or rather, he does, but most of them need him to get legislation through Congress to do them, and so aren't going to happen.

3. impeachement

No way that Obama can be convicted by the Senate, even in the unlikely event that the republithugs take it over. Reason is that you need 2/3 or 67 senators to vote for conviction. It ain't gonna happen.

The Senate is the "jury". And you need a 2/3rds majority to convict, not a simple majority.
