According to this article it was the husband tazed in Cotati

http://rohnertpark-cotati.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/cotati-police-officers-were-forced-to-kick-the-door-open

The officers tasered Wood after they asked him to stop and get on the ground. The officers then determined that no one was injured inside the apartment.

In a previous thread I think everyone was thinking it was the wife who was tazered. He was so obnoxious in the video I was rooting for him to get tazed not the wife.

or done anything else wrong deserves to be tazed for not "just following orders" from cops with a itch to punish anyone in their way? the pigs just wanted him outside so they could claim he was "disturbing the peace" and use that to justify beating him up.

There is always potential violence from both parties. We always send multiple units due to the volatility of the situation. Rule number one is we take the totality of the situation, have we had calls here before, are they known to us, protctive orders in the past etc. We are not going to leave without talking to all parties at the location, even if there has been some fighting unless we can ascertain who was was primary aggressor and have marks or wounds then we wont make an arrest but we will take that subject to the magistrate and help them get an epo and warrants. Mostly with verbals we just try to seperate both parties for the night to allow cooling off. One thing we will not do is interview both parties together as through experience we know the abused seldom talks honestly when confronted with their abuser. Worst and best case scenario is young kids who witness the abuse as they will tell you outright mummy hit daddy or vice versa.
