Watching this segment on "Up w/ Steve Kornki" ...

has me thinking how even on the Left, we accept the corporate frame.

The discussion is about regulating the garment industry so there are no more Bangladash disasters. And the discusion's starting point is that corporations provide all these jobs ... low paying jobs, but jobs paying more than what the workers received prior to the corporate invasion, no the less.

Well ... do the people living in a largely agri-society with well established bantering system that existed for centuries, providing everyone most of what they needed, really need money?
