(62,521 posts)It's absolutely miserable here. Tornado's every week, followed by 150 degree daily heat and insect plagues.
It's horrible here, I tells ya! HORRIBLE!

(2,667 posts)Seriously, Shinston is not an easy place to get to and its not a bit likely that anyone would find themselves there by accident. Although its not really very far from easily visited towns and cities (Fairmont and Clarksburgh, WV as examples) you still have to go a long way to get there and nothing along the way hints that you are going the right way.

There is really no reason for anyone to die since dopler pretty much pin-points the addresses of home in jeopardy...and anyone in a danger zone can get special devices that alert you even while sleeping..

(25,592 posts)I never saw a tornado until I moved to North Dakota. Then I saw several. Two of which came a bit too close.
