that would bar counties and towns from enacting rules that require calorie counts to be posted, that cap portion sizes, or that keep toys out of kids’ meals. This happened in the poorest, worst-educated, least-healthy, and most obese state in the union.

Those "secret award packages" must be amazing. Untraceable campaign funding, luxurious "fact-finding" junkets to tropical paradises, offshore personal bank account contributions... who knows?

Gotta be an amazing incentive to make such incredible asses of themselves on a big public stage like that.
