"The Great American Railroad War" - Greed, corruption, cheating, lying...

I'm reading this book by Dennis Drabelle.

It is mind boggling, jaw dropping.
Leland Stanford, Collis Huntington, Mark Hopkins, and Charles Crocker formed the Central Pacific, and later the Southern Pacific railroads.

Their shenanagins put today's political and congressional corruption to shame.

The money these assholes made at the expense of American taxpayers is beyond obscene.
And...just like the crooked banksters today...nobody ever served one day behind bars.
I despair of the 'American System of Justice'.
What a laugh.
