Moore OK students have to reschedule because of TODAY'S weather!

As if we didn't have enough problems. After Monday's F5 tornado, Moore schools have been canceled for the remainder of the year (this was their last week, anyway). However, the kids were scheduled to pick up their belongings and say goodbye to their teachers at the undamaged schools this morning. But guess what? They have to reschedule THAT because of flash flooding all over the OKC metro area!

It's been raining buckets here since 4 am. and I can't even get out of our neighborhood. As I texted this, my dogs just jumped from a lightning bolt and thunderclap that struck right by us.

If you didn't have bad luck, you wouldn't have any luck at all.

Hugs from Iowa!

Just to be clear, we weren't affected by Sunday's and Monday's storms (we live 10 miles or so from Moore), but still appreciate that. The dogs are doing just fine. I was chiefly concerned about the disruption to the kids in Moore as well as the ongoing search & rescue.
