3. you know what he hasn't tried? reverse psychology. announce he wants to keep it open

for 10 more years. And act really pissed off when they push for the opposite. Then laugh like hell when they pass the closure of Gitmo

What's to stop him from releasing the prisoners that there is no evidence to prosecute them?

other countries (or the UN) to come and take them away.

He's the commander in chief. He could order those who are force-feeding the prisoners to stop it and just let them go.
