It's been cold and raining for days and a couple of hours ago, it turned to snow.

I've seen snow on May 31st in Denver, but it didn't matter.

(13,685 posts)There is a low pressure system to your northeast and while it is tapping moisture from the Atlantic on the right side, it is also tapping cold air coming down from the Arctic on its left. Here in the Smokies it was 38 last night. Dry air. Got up to 75 for a minute or two in the sun today. Ahhhh......
