Erick Erickson's Latest Sexist Tirade Draws Outrage (even from the right!)

Wow. Media Matters has found that even some on the RIGHT are wagging their fingers at Erick Erickson for Erickson's remark on a Fox News show "When you look at biology, look at the natural world, the roles of a male and female in society, and the other animals, the male typically is the dominant role... having moms as the primary breadwinner is bad for kids and bad for marriage, and reality shows us that's the truth."

The article quotes Katie Pavlich of Townhall.com (and author of a book about the Fast and Furious scandal) as tweeting "attacking women for being breadwinners is a really bad idea" and being "offended" that Erickson implied that women can't head households strongly. And NewsBusters.org (a project of the Media Research Center) writer Matt Vespa said that Erickson "isn't going to help us reaching out to women."

MM also quotes liberal critics like Alex Seitz-Wald of Salon and Derek Thompson of the Atlantic.
