that tax cuts for the wealthy "creates jobs"... that they are the "job creators"... all that other garbage they were spewing around two or three years ago. What happen to that GOP talking point? any suggestions?

That's just the way our government rolls. (Rolls over, in some cases.)

(5,217 posts)They have no internal moral compass. They shift from position to position even if they are mutually exclusive, or form circular logic. As long as they can smoke screen, baffle you with bullshit, defuse your moral will to take decisive action, they don't care. As long as they get what they want, in their mind they win.

(158 posts)start another cycle of this Big Lie!?... when the deficit drops to a point whereas they can once again push for tax cuts for the wealthy, once we see a surplus coming??? or wait for the time when people has forgotten?? when will this lies raise it ugly head again?? any thoughts on this?

(11,804 posts)They aren't going to give up that one - they can't. They ahve to say that helping the wealthy helps all of us. They might quiet down on it now when it seems like no tax cuts are going to be forthcoming but they will keep bringing it up when they have a shot at lowering taxes on the wealthy further.
