Fight erupts between parents at kindergarten graduation

http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-201_162-57587076/fight-erupts-between-parents-at-kindergarten-graduation/

Cleveland police say they've made eight arrests after a brawl broke out at a kindergarten graduation.

Police say a fight between two teen girls Friday morning spread among adults and other teens in the crowd.

No one was seriously injured.

Police told CBS affiliate WOIO that the suspects will be charged with inciting a riot.

We wore caps and gowns that our mom's made us and I sang "Bicycle built for two" as a duet with a cute little boy.

It was a southern Baptist private school though. I'm not sure if the public schools had them then.

Somewhere I have a picture of me in my little cap and gown. There's a picture from forty years or so before that of my mother as a little girl also in her cap and gown in the same spot.

and same as you, there was 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners and that was it in my school events and never wore a cap and gown until I graduated from HS in 1991. I think the "everyone gets a prize" movement has not yielded the best results either IMO.

We just had end of the year parties. But that was enough for me, formal graduation ceremonies in kindergarten is way over the top. Grade school should be like the NBA finals - no one gets to pop the champagne until the final minute of the final game.

Well I'll be damned. I thought this was some new concoction. I didn't have a graduation. I just figured this was the new fossil fuel version. I was wrong.

It is very likely the truth. Three could definitely be some 18-year-olds with kids in kindergarten, and it isn't hard to imagine them being the ones getting into fights..

Regarding a graduation ceremony. This is just wrong. What is next, the Kindergarten prom?

Actually I'm way too late for that.
