Tea party speaker presents proof Grover Norquist is a secret Muslim: ‘He has a beard’

Tea Party continues to eat its own.

A speaker at a tea party event in Texas recently suggested that that anti-tax lobbyist Grover Norquist was a secret Muslim because “he has a beard.”

In a video posted by the Far North Dallas Tea Party on Thursday, Texas Eagle Forum President and former Chairman of the Texas Republican Party Cathie Adams presented evidence that Norquist was part of a “stealth jihad” in the United States.

Adams said that Norquist, who is married to a Muslim woman, was “trouble with a capital ‘T’” because “he’s showing signs of converting to Islam himself.”

“As you see, he has a beard,” she pointed out. “He’s married a Muslim woman. But he denies that he has converted himself. He denies that.”

“He and Karl Rove are very good friends. I don’t like Karl Rove, and I certainly don’t like Grover Norquist.”

I think she should include all those assaulting-type rifles and guns that the terra-ists carry. I mean, they're Muslin, too, right?

I truly don't understand how The Onion remains in business with the way the "normal" news reads any more...

I'll have to look at their emails when I get home. I hadn't seen an announcement. Perhaps if they merged with The Daily Show they could remain solvent.

A mustache is clearly facial hair, and beards are made of facial hair. Hmmm...

Nosehair is facial hair, too. Oh, and eyebrows, eyelashes, not sure if ear-hair counts as part of the "face." Someone needs to help her redefine the definition of "beard"

for what comes out of TEA party events. DU commandos are changing out the mushrooms on the pizzas with psilocybin s'rooms. Nothing else makes sense. A recent lobotomy couldn't cause that drivel.

The thing I keep thinking about is, the sperm that made them is the WINNER of the fallopian tube derby their mothers held. What kind of fucked up group of candidates first arrived on scene? Did their fathers spend time sleeping on Nuclear piles?

Anthony Weiner is married to a Muslim. Does that make him one? We have DUers who are atheists married to Christians. That doesn't make them Christian.

"He has a beard!" sounds like a real strange reason to declare someone a Muslim, especially since all the pictures of Jesus depict a bearded man.

a 50 minute presentation, in which they may as well have taken 1920s Nazi propaganda, and substituted 'America' for 'Germany', and 'Muslims' for 'Jews'.

http://vimeo.com/67229175

Cathie Adams, the president of the Texas Eagle Forum who briefly chaired the state's Republican Party, made her thesis clear early in a recent presentation to the Far North Dallas Tea Party with a quote from author Paul Sperry.

America is fighting a perfect enemy, one protected by religious freedoms and racial sensitivities. And we have a less than perfect understanding of what motivates the enemy, and how it is aided and abetted by a religious support network that exploits American culture and tax laws and is patiently infiltrating the American system to overturn it from within.

...
Adams next turns to Richardson City Councilman Amir Omar and his failed 2006 bid for Eddie Bernice Johnson's U.S. House seat.

"Many of my Republican friends were supporting him because they didn't wanted to look like racists," Adams says. "I went right into the heart of that, and I changed my Republican friends from supporting a man who had never even voted. But they were afraid of not supporting him because he was a Muslim.

"That man moved and came to Richardson and ran for mayor and lost to Laura Mackza," she continued. "Thank God."
