Why is no one on the right held accountable for their hate speech leading to violence and murder?

RIP Doctor Tiller

Charged with conspiracy to commit murder, held for a couple years in a supermax prison before trial because of the danger Bill presents to society.

Then tried, convicted, given the maximum sentence.

Justice!

(Oh, I know all about that free speech thing in the Constituion, but what Bill did is like yelling fire in a theater, NOT protected under the First Amendment!)

And as far as I can tell inciting violence is a crime. Like when Sarah Palin put a target on Rep Gabby Gifford's district.

They can claim they didn't mean for anyone to get hurt but history should have taught them otherwise by now yet they continue.

The only good thing about it is the American public seems to be mostly over their disgusting behavior and either ignores them or laughs at them.

I read a bunch of testimonials from Dr. Tiller's patients after he was murdered. Dr. Tiller saved lives and helped women in dire and desperate situations. The horror stories of women who went to Kansas because it was the only place to provide them legal and necessary health care broke my heart. What the right wing nuts did to him is beyond disgusting. The way they twisted what was happening and made a very brave and good man into a monster. Well, if there is a hell I hope there's a special fire just for those so-called "Christians."

People who know the truth understand that his clinic is a prime example of why we need to keep choice legal!

I was visiting from out of town and she asked me what I thought of North Korea. I said, "absolutely nothing. No fear. Nothing." She said, "I think we should nuke 'em."

I asked "Why? I'm more afraid of those right-wing-gun-packing-men that shoot Doctors right in front of their family! In church no less. Those fuckers scare the shit out of me." (I was referring to the execution method that was used on Dr. Tiller).

Followed by an acknowledgment of relief that there would be no more abortions.

Kind of like this:

'Bittersweet moment'

A leader of an anti-abortion group that often protested Tiller's work called the closing of Women's Health Care Services a "bittersweet moment."

"We are thankful that Tiller's clinic will not reopen and thankful that Wichita is now abortion-free," said Troy Newman, president of Operation Rescue, a Wichita-based anti-abortion group.

"We have worked very hard for this day, but we wish it would have come through the peaceful, legal channels that we were pursuing," he said.

Operation Rescue had led failed attempts to convene grand juries to charge Tiller criminally.

I have talked to anti-choice people who do not grasp the horror of his being shot in church and in front of his family. They just seem to get some kind of bizarre thrill out of one more "baby killer" murdered.
It was one of the saddest events in my life.
