In case you missed this wonderful story from tonight's CBS Evening News . . . . .

The CBS video itself isn't up yet, but no matter. The story is well told in this local television station's story.

Steve Hartman's "On The Road" segment tells the stories of ordinary people doing extraordinary things. In this case it was the story of a woman who has fostered over a hundred kids and did her very best to treat each one as a family member. It is also the story of her grandson, who stepped up a few years ago to help a lot of people, and who stepped up his stepping up when his Grandma needed the help.

The story's very short and worth the read. I couldn't decide how to edit an excerpt down to just four paragraphs, so maybe you'll just click the link and read the story.
