Will he make it all the way to the nomination, or will his fellow poikilotherm, the Newtster, pull him down?
None of Santorum's real negatives have gained much of a hold on the popular mind yet, resulting in him having a 64% favorable rating among all voters according to a recent poll.
In case Newt's interested, here is a nice place to start on Frothy the Snowjob.

What The CREW Report Says About Rick 'Jesus' Santorum!
The report on Santorum's indiscrections is thorough, and if Santorum had won his bid for re-election (Why wouldn't anyone want to vote for Jesus?), he might have ended up as a cell mate for Tom Delay or even Randy 'Duke' Cunningham!
Santorum, while living with his family for eleven months of the year in Virginia, told Pennsylvania school officials that the family was residing in Pennsylvania. Because the good taxpayers of Pennsylvania believed Santorum's false statements, they paid an estimated $70,000.00 to educate Santorum's children in an online charter school. Didn't Ohio mother Kelley Williams-Bolar recently get convicted and sent to jail for lying about her address in order to get her kids into a better school district? Her name is obviously NOT Jesus...
The CREW report details Santorum's legislative assistance in exchange for contributions to his political action committee, America's Foundation. From AccuWeather to the U.S Tobacco Corporation to the Miller Brewing Company to Anheuser-Busch, to, of all things, Puerto Rico's healthcare industry, Santorum received contributions from all of these players when he coincidentally authored or sponsored legislation to support their interests. Santorum was so intent on helping Puerto Rican healthcare interests that he introduced not one, but two bills to help Puerto Rican hospitals secure Medicare reimbursements.
In 2002, Santorum received a home loan from a private Philadelphia bank that only makes loans to people who are investors. Lo and Behold! The Santorums were NOT investors...While that may not sound like something illegal, the Senate has specific rules for just those situations, and because Santorum was not a client of the bank, the loan is then classified as a 'gift'.

(3,795 posts)I really hope that's Republican voters.
If not, this country is more out of touch than even I thought.
Not that I'm worried that it will stay that high, but it still amazes me if that stat is pertaining to all voters!
He would be such a scary alternative to Obama for so many of us, that if he's the nominee I'd hope even the most disenchanted liberals would be pounding the pavements for Obama.
