While this Republican election circus is amusing and horrifying at the same time,
maybe instead of asking for someone's birth certificate, we should
be asking if any of the candidates have mental health issues. It might
explain something to those of us who are bewildered.

1. In that respect, I've always said that Bush the Lesser was a psychopath

and if subjected to Dr. Robt. Hare's Psychopathy Index would have been seen as such.

Furthermore, Chris Hedges has stated that the abu Ghraib pictures depicted events that were "straight out of Gonzo porn". I admit to feeling validated when I heard him say this, because, during the time that abu Ghraib was in the news I posted on DU about how there seemed to be a disturbing sexual component inherent in most of the so-called torture and humiliation acts that took place.

After all, if one wants to torture someone there are many ways to accomplish that without resorting to techniques like forcing them to masturbate while laughing and pointing etc. I even suggested that the Bush administration was engaged in making snuff films.

My point is that, certainly with the Bush crime gang, there were significant mental health issues and there's no reason to believe that the current parade of trolls don't have theirs as well.
