SAC CITY — Authorities said the owner of dozens of dogs rescued from a farm in rural Sac County has relinquished ownership of the animals, clearing the way for them to be made available for adoption.

Eighty-seven dogs, mostly cocker spaniels, and one cat were rescued two weeks ago. Some of the dogs are pregnant.

from a Stokes County puppy mill raid, mostly French Bulldogs. I'm hoping to adopt one of them.

8. K&R. I wish I could take another. I have 2 rescues now & all I can handle in a tiny house.

But it's great that you posted this. Cockers are my favorite breed. They are so beautiful and they are the ultimate "happy" dog. I have a rescued Cocker now, and I had one before this one.
