Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsPublic schools are under attack. "Faculty members" are under attack from the GOP. Do they
want to get rid of public universities and public information? Does the GOP envision a world where all information is bought and paid for? And newspapers are losing money. Are we seeing the start of the attack on 'good information' from the experts (who also seem to be under attack)? Cause good information finally punching through to people is why OWS worked. Controlling good information is really the only way corporations can control the world.

This comes up for a vote during EVERY session of Congress and gets a little closer to passing each time.

(10,504 posts)and it's far from the "start" of the "attack." Controlling the media and controlling education are the 1%'s idea of the best way to "win hearts and minds"; and their highly-effective efforts have been going on for decades (at least).
