"Nothing can stand in the way of the power of millions of voices calling for change."

I just came across the will.i.am Yes We Can video for the first time in a long time, and I was struck for the first time in a long time about how powerful and how true that statement is.

I don't care if you're President Obama's most ardent supporter or his fiercest critic. You cannot deny that statement. This is why we MUST keep the pressure on Congress and the White House to do what is right, get active locally, and get people out to vote this year.

Otherwise things stay the same.

in my state Senator Cantwell is running for reelection. Ms. Cantwell is certainly much better than the R'con alternatives. However, Ms. Cantwell is certainly no champion of the 99%. So what can we do? Millions of voices calling for change is nothing w/o a specific challenger that is willing to provide change.

I will never forgive Ms Cantwell for her spineless vote to allow G.W. Bush to invade Iraq. She is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi's . It was her duty, especially as a Democrat to resist the kill, kill, kill of the neocons.

I don't think it's a good idea to insist on change without having an understanding of what that change would look like.

That clearly does not give a damn what the people want. Strange how that works.

Only crowds, controlled crowds of people could change something. That's how revolutions are done.

Not with violence of any kind but with the passion a people wishing to be free of corporate monarchy need to to take back our government and make it truly for the people.
