Dozens Of Hotline Calls After 300+ Bones Found In Well

This has been an on going story for a couple of weeks.

Authorities said they believe the remains of nearly 20 people may be buried there.

Convicted killer Shermantine claims he and his partner in crime, Herzog, dumped bodies there after a killing spree in the '90s.

Why does California seem to have more than it's fair share of serial killers? I stand some what corrected. This country has more than it's fair share.

don't now why. No wonder Loren Herzog committed suicide a bit over a month ago. I hope they find the girl that's been missing for a over a decade and was last seen with Shermantine and herzog. So sad...They were even more debauched and savage that was afirst thought, troglodytes!

the human body has 205 bones. 20x205=4100. So 300 + bones is only about 2 1/2 bodies

They are currently using a back hoe on the well from a side angle down to the base. But, that is what I can only tell from the photo. Also they've been underground for many years.

and they've only be at it for a couple of days. Today dig was called off because of the rain.
