Rant time - listening to the Diane Rehm show today - discussing Obama's budget...
of course they have on Norm Ornstein and some jackass from the WSJ - of course they are slamming the Bush tax break ending. Of course it is utter hypocrisy because everyone who is discussing this on any talk shows, news shows, etc are part of the group that will have to pay more. Of course the wealthy who get much of their money from investments who will have to pay more did nothing for it - just got lucky. Of course "conservative" means conserve, meaning they will do anything to conserve their wealth. Of course the Bush tax cuts did nothing good for the economy, because people who have too much money just want more. Of course trickle down doesn't work.
Of course none of these points were raised - it was all about "we can't afford these programs - we have to cut".
Of course there is never a hint that those with way more than they could ever possibly need could do their part to help.
Of course I tried and tried and tried to call in but never could.
