It had always been a conservative leaning newspaper, but went hard right after Harper got elected, and the tea party started, after Obama's victory. Fox news was denied entry into the Canadian market, so the Sun jumped on the chance to branch out to television, and become Canada's news network for the simple minded hateful folk. I'm surprised it has survived this long.
