Even when I spoke with an attorney after being terminated for something I did not do (leaving while on the clock),
he told me that since our state was a right to work state, I could not do anything about it.
He informed me that in a right to work state, you can be fired for any reason.
I was offended and felt that the accusation was tantamount to stealing, but I was unable to
clear my name.
I was able to collect UE though.
It's just a way to allow businesses to not have to justify themselves.
