2. Considering His 3 Year Long Appeasement Of The Right- Wingnuts

I see him as the best choice of a completely tainted lot. With nearly 2 years of a super-majority in congress, he accomplished very few of his campaing promises, and his sellout to insurance companies and big pharma has made a complete joke of what should have been, and could have been, a defining moment in American history. I am a Clinton Democrat, and as such, I will support our president in his quest for re-election. But I reserve my opinion that Hillary would have made a much better president in 2008, and Obama would have been much better prepaired for the 2016 run.

I see much of the current political mess, the mess of Obama's making. He could have, and should have, nipped this appeasement crap in the bud over the stimulus bill and demanded the proper funding absent of tax cuts, and also ended the Village idiot's welfar for the rich tax cuts. Gittmo is still open, and Afghanistan still has our combat troops fighting poppy growers instead of terrorists. Sure there have been good moments, but I shudder at the thoughts of what might have been. I do sincerely hope that the next 4 years are more in line with the agenda that Obama was elected on. We really need to kick the baggers in the nuts while we have them down so that we can be sure to keep them down. Decades of progressive agendas are very appealing to me, and I hope that we can mount an assault on anyone and anything conservative. If we could manage to get these religious morons out of the relm of government once and for all, this country just might get back to being great again. Bibles belong in church, and since I don't set foot in the shrines to evil, as long as they are kept there, all will be well in America again.

5. I too am disappointed, but it is not all his fault.

I agree that he should have given up on working with the Republicans long ago. My greatest disappointments are in the realms of civil liberties and the economy. When I saw who he had chosen for his economic advisers I knew we were in trouble. But despite all of that, he had precious little help from his fellow Democrats. A lot of the Senators are so right-wing that they might as well be Republicans, and they are cowardly to boot. I think Hillary might have been tougher in dealing with the Republicans. But the thought of any of the current Republican contenders becoming President makes my blood run cold. We have to push Obama and the Democrats in Congress in the right direction. Occupy Wall Street has made a good start; let's try not to despair.

That he's a finger pointer?

Well I guess that kind of makes sense, since he is part of the 1%.
