(2,261 posts)I recorded it all, yesterday's and today's.
The first hour today with that idiot Newt Gingrich supporter guy was hard to listen to.
This hour, however, is very refreshing.

(45,319 posts)With her in and Pat out, I might return some watching time to that outlet. Her guests seemed interesting as well.

(13,069 posts)Intelligent hosts and guests. I am almost back to thinking on Sunday mornings--rather than pulling out my hair as I yell at David Gregory spewing the RW talking points.

(2,335 posts)model ..... Or so it seems. I like her show. But she really needs to exercise better panel control and not allow people to talk over her and each other The GOP guy from new York yesterday was especially caustic and literally tried to bully her despite his smiling face She allowed him to deny her a full response more than one time. That should never happen. Hopefully she learns.

(2,261 posts)Actually, I think M H-P is a lot more demure and tolerant of those right wingers making fools of themselves, and she will probably learn to ask the kind of questions Chris Matthews would ask, but not in the severe way Chris does.
I love seeing a delightful, highly educated black woman hosting a regular weekly serious news discussion show, and she's obviously having fun doing it.

(23,664 posts)Chris Hayes had Jeff Greenfield from PBS on this morning and most of the discussion went far over his head. He was the exception on both shows.
How good is it to be able to watch smart people talking without screaming nut cases or pontificating pundits getting in the way.
