IMPORTANT DECODING INFORMATION : Note that this story comes from an fascio-envioronmentalist source. So I went to FOX to get an Oreilly/Hannity approved official Frank Gaffney Decoder ring - "Don't Be Fooled, Be Tooled!" [OfficialFox decoded wording follows in bold throughout the text]
Original Text: Make Room for ERO, the Concrete-Eating Robot
FOX DECODED TEXT: [ Make room for Shaero, the Christian - Eating Robot]
Original text: A Turkish inventor has unleashed a fleet of waste-eliminating hydro-demolition robots that use water to dismantle and recycle concrete buildings.
FOX: A muslim guy has unleashed a fleet of Western-eliminating fascio-demolition al qaeda bots to destroy what Christianity and the founders built ]

The robot [alquedabot] revolution has begunand it is going to save [bring about Armageddon on] Earth.
This is getting tedious and I just broke my decoder ring - which Fox obviously didn't realize was made in China. So to get the rest of the message decoded, put on your and trust in Jesus - and Frank Gaffney, his representative here on FOX
Omer Haciomeroglu, an innovator at Swedens Umea Institute of Design, has constructed what is called a hydro-demolition robot, or ERO, which uses water to take down concrete walls and structures.
If it wasnt already awesome enough that the bot uses water rather than disruptive and debris-producing force to dismantle concrete, ERO also recycles what it levels. While deconstructing, the robot separates and cleanly packages the recovered aggregate, water and rebar for later use.
The demolition droid does the duty by blasting concrete with water at high pressure, a technique referred to as hydro-demolition, to break down and strip the concrete from its reinforcing structure. ERO constitutes a greener and more efficient alternative to wasteful heavy machinery.

Still not cool enough, you say? The bots also move around on omni-directional tracks and are completely autonomous.

update:
they are still working on a device that will allow cats to sit on top of the robots as they move around the building.

Primarily, because the contaminated waste concrete, in water solution, can be pumped into containment, and the water used can be recycled to mitigate contaminating large volumes of water.
This is nothing new, only on a bigger scale.

(46,262 posts)I went to Fox, found nothing on this.
No Gaffney, Hannity or O'Reilly even mentioning this.
Much as I detest Faux "news," there is more than enough crap from them, we don't need to make stuff up.

There is this thing called satire that happens a lot around here. You really should learn about it.
