(42,770 posts)would he put himself through this humiliation? Whether you support him or whether he disgusts you...it is totally curious to me how he could take much more of this public horsewhipping.

(9,610 posts)Was that the advert on Huff post was for Shell Oil. Nice. That is why I stay away from sites such as that. They are just after the money too.

(39,215 posts)than we had previously known. Why would he put his wife through this again when it was obviously going to hurt his chances of election? I remember his speeches and think we lost a good voice but he may never be able to overcome this. We need to move on.

(42,770 posts)NEW YORK - A woman who said she was a former constituent got into Anthony Weiner's face Monday, spouting a profanity-laced diatribe as the New York mayoral candidate tried to calm her down.
The woman, who identified herself as Jane Borock, 35, furiously complained about Weiner's positions on housing prices and the sexting controversy that has dominated coverage of his campaign.
As Weiner tried to talk to potential voters near the Barclays Center and the Atlantic Avenue subway station in Brooklyn, the candidate reminded her that children were present:
Weiner: "OK, OK - you're very passionate."
Borock: "I'm passionate? More passionate than you on Twitter! I'm a social media expert! You should get someone to handle your s---. You are disgusting."
Weiner: "OK, you've had your say."
Borock (to quickly gathering reporters): "F--- you all for ..."
Weiner: "Whoa, whoa. There are little kids here."
Borock: "Little kids? You have no right to talk about little kids! Social media? Want to see some Twitter action?"
All the while, a man who said he was homeless kept making jokes like "Are you a Weiner or a sausage?"
Visibly irritated, Weiner said at one point: "Do you think I'm intimidated by one person yelling at me? What kind of mayor would I be?"
Weiner admitted last month that he'd continued sending explicit photos and text messages even after he resigned from Congress in 2011 - using the improbable nom-de-text "Carlos Danger." He vowed to stay in the race.

(26,060 posts)NYers don't mind hound dogs but they don't like stupid and thinking he could run again knowing he was still texting his junk around was majorly stupid.
