Why do Republicans tolerate a health care system so unlike investment banking?

I don't see any major bailout in the health care field comparable to what happened with Bear Stearns. I don't see any big collapse in the health care field comparable to what happened with Lehman Brothers. Where is the creative destruction in the health care field? If a little bit of safety and security against such creative destruction is purchased at the cost of socialistic policy, socialistic regulation, or socialistic legislation, then all freedom could eventually be lost. The status quo isn't good enough. Republicans who take an interest in health care policy need to start applying the insights that they have been slowly accumulating from the S&L crisis of the 1980s to the financial crisis of 2008.
