(110,744 posts)and belch a cloud of horrible smelling smoke, it's a sissy vehicle and that's all there is to it.
You could mount a Howitzer on the roof and it would still be a sissy car.

(20,176 posts)if the Army could figure out how to get sufficient HP and range out of an electric engine, they'd have contracts for electric-tanks signed yesterday.
It's long been a goal of the USDoD to create and possess near-stealth fast-strike armored cavalry. An effective quiet medium-range electric engine is a big first step towards addressing the key-issue at-hand there. The diesel engines on tanks are loud. Lots of tanks are very loud.
Funnier still is that doing so, the technology would be posted to civilian use even faster and end the combustion engine that much sooner. If you can run a tank on an electric engine, you can run just about any road vehicle in America on one.

(21,925 posts)He was talking about Newt's promise to take gas prices down to below $2.50 if elected and Bashir asked how Gingrich could take them down when his greatest skill in life was taking down his own underpants. The panel members on Bashir's show were cracking up.
