This Is A Bizarre Story

http://crooksandliars.com/susie-madrak/tx-man-sues-state-rep-husband-over-re (For Video)

Via Gizmodo. Would it surprise you to know this is Texas? No? Would it surprise you to know the dealership owners are state Rep. Patricia Harless (R) and her husband, Sam Harless? The victim accuses Sam Harless of providing other employees with a Taser and would film them sneaking up behind him and using the Taser on him in a series of incidents over the past nine months:

Bradley Jones is suing his former employers because he was repeatedly tasered on the job, leaving him a broken paranoid mess. Good god, this poor guy.

As you can see in the video above, Jones' coworkers at Fred Fincher Motors in Houston terrorized him for over nine months with a taser. KHOU reports that he was blasted with the stun gun "at least" two dozen times while his coworkers and boss filmed it and laughed at him.

The torture only ended when Jones was let go a few weeks ago. Now, he's suing. Obviously, Jones' boss is denying that he was involved at all. And I bet some idiot is going to argue that Jones "was in on the fun" and "can't you see he's laughing in the videos," but don't buy it. Any decent workplace would never let this happen. There's no way to be "in" on ritualized abuse to your body. When you see the guy break down at the end, you know this just isn't funny.

(The soon to be poorer) Harless denies that he provided the stun gun or that he filmed the abuse, saying he "Knew nothing about it (occurring)" ... but the lawsuit indicates that he attempted to stop his employees from perpetrating the abuse.

How do you stop, what you don't know is occurring?

I suspect the victim will soon be able to purchase that house he was seeking.

2. Two dozen times? And he didn't quit or punch somebody out?

He should be awarded every nickel that asshole ever had. But I wonder if the fact that he hung around and got tased two dozen times will weaken his case.

Fwiw, I believe him, and hope he not only wins his civil suit, but that criminal charges are filed also.

I don't get why they picked on this guy and how they thought tasering was funny.

Criminal charges? Sure. But let's see how they play out against a politician's husband, not some nobody.

Sounds like assault to me. The video shows him getting nailed more than once and best of all, the BOSS was filming; they even put it on youtube, idiots thugs.

He needs to file charges and the people who were laughing are not even human and the boss needs to do some time.

The guy said he couldn't quit as he was in the process of buying a house. Well, now he'll be able to buy that house.

tolerate such bullshit anymore. If I see it, I speak up. It always amazes me that so many of the 'winning' videos on America's 'Funniest' Videos are so cruel and mean.

It speaks volumes about the citizenry of this country.

so I imagine it could happen here as well. But I hope not. No one should suffer that kind of abuse.

That's what schoolyard bullies become when they grow up.
