(55,745 posts)They hate Communists with, well, everything they got. And that includes the blood of every human being on the planet.
Dr. King became their enemy the second he stood up for the people of Vietnam. Weird how he also became an enemy of the state -- simply for opposing war.
we are no longer talking about Lester Maddox and George Wallace, this was an
even worse crowd to piss off.

It's vital history that explains why things never really change for the War Party. And why Dr. King also became an enemy of the state, as are we all who oppose "official policy," like peaceniks, OWS, environmentalists, etc., and why the armed nuts are always left alone or brought in as consultants when needed as snipers by the FBI.
