"Wrapped in the Flag. A Personal History of America's Radical Right" by Claire Conner

I'm currently reading this book. I'm telling you it's a MUST-READ for anyone not a RWNJ/Teabagger. This woman goes into great detail about her family's involvement with and her indoctrination into the John Birch Society -- which is now called THE TEA PARTY. Back in the 60s, 70s, 80s, their extremist ideology was largely rejected. The scariest thing now is how much money, influence and support these extremists have - ushered in by at least one if not two of them on our Supreme Court and their Citizens United and other ridiculous rulings, designed to put them in power.

This is NOT a Right-wing book! But it's all about the latest incarnation of the Right Wing in the U.S.

EVERY. SINGLE. PIECE. OF. WINGNUT. RHETORIC. we're dealing with today and since the recent "Tea Party" formed, has its basis in this history, told by Claire Conner.

I don't know this woman. I'm not a marketer or a promoter. But I do have some Tea Party/Teabaggers in my own family and I recognize that knowing the history of how we got where we are now is VITAL to changing the course.

So...yea. Get the book if you can.
