In your opinion, what responsibility, if any, does Congress and SCOTUS

have regarding the NSA and FISA? I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on how these two branches of government have affected policy in this area and what changes you would demand of them.

They are far more responsible than the executive branch. AppetiteForApathy Aug 2013 #1

That's for damn sure.

The legislative and judicial branches are partly there to police and balance the power of the executive branch.

The executive branch has rarely, if ever, in American history ever policed itself or called for reforms that would limit its own powers.

To expect the executive branch to do that now is ludicrous. Any NSA/FISA reforms must be achieved through Congress and the courts and if they are not, then the blame falls squarely on them.

would personally like to be able to impeach on my own. Whatever problems we have had in the last few years have been their fault. I consider them treasonous! They have made our lives somewhat miserable, especially concerning laws on the books concerning voting. They have not voted to help this country--on the contrary they have voted their personal views rather than those of the country. Not to mention using magic wands to turn corporations into people to raise money for their Republican friends.
