Implementation Of Obamacare May Destroy The GOP

The tea partiers are in a tizzy over the nearing implementation of Obamacare, demanding that their Reps & Sens defund it or face primary challenges from candidates who are ultra-extreme RWers. Mitch McConnell has already been targeted to be primaried.

In the meantime, recent polls have shown that Obamacare is actually more popular among the people than was thought. A major plank of Obamacare will be rolled out starting in October as the exchanges go online, with policies going into effect in January.

The elections aren't until Nov 2014. Surely the worm could turn drastically against the GOP, morphing into a perfect storm of unelectable candidates colliding with a health care plan that is becoming increasingly popular, combined with the past record of a radical, do-nothing R-controlled House.

The only question is: will Ds have the guts to go for the jugular, or will the "we need two parties" apologists keep the Ds from pulling the trigger on this cancer that is eating away at our government and our country?
