Some Steubenville Scumbucket Rape Freaks May Escape Justice
http://bluntandcranky.wordpress.com/2013/08/19/some-steubenville-scumbucket-rape-freaks-may-escape-justice/
The grand jury has recessed again, and is sending different signals than before: "A key issue before the grand jury is whether adults who are required to report crimes knew early on about the rape last August but didn’t say anything.” More at the link.

2. Anybody who knows that town is right to be suspicious.
Corrupt, venal, vicious, among other characteristics.

I am sorry you had to endure that. I hope you are no longer there!

8. The town wasn't called "little Chicago" since the 20's for nothing.
I lived across the muddy waters and the area over there is... at best corrupt... and worst dangerous. It's not a place where you would openly protest or cause issues in small numbers.

9. I am so wishing that an adult is charged with something serious
That coach guy especially, I forget his name. I want him in prison so bad and I want the rest who participated in this horror to have sleepless nights thinking they are next.

10. The only reason things have gone this far is due to national attention. A person's reach there goes
across the state. But I'm with you.. I hope so to.

11. It's Rape Culture personified. Some families have multiple generations of rape.
Traci Lords, for one example. She AND her mother were both raped in that town. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/ex-porn-star-lords-raped-steubenville-article-1.1289435

12. Your headline should read: "Grand Jury May Not Do What I Want It To"
There has been much over-the-top bloviating on this case, much relying on ax-grinding bloggers (Prinnified) making wild and unsubstantiated claims, not so much cool assessment of what happened and should happen.
There was an interesting overview article in the New Yorker last week. Check it out for a less hair-on-fire perspective: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2013/08/05/130805fa_fact_levy |
