Senator Cruz became a U.S. citizen at birth, and he never had to go through a naturalization process after birth to become a U.S. citizen, said spokeswoman Catherine Frazier. To our knowledge, he never had Canadian citizenship, so there is nothing to renounce.
The U.S. Constitution allows only a natural born American citizen to serve as president. Most legal scholars who have studied the question agree that includes an American born overseas to an American parent, such as Cruz.
The Constitution says nothing about would-be presidents born with dual citizenship.
Where's the long form birth certificate Ted!?

The fucking moron was a Canadian citizen the second they cut the fucking cord in Calgary. Not that he has to renounce anything, you are allowed to hold dual Canadian and American citizenship.
I expect Orly Taitz and Donald Trump along with Sheriff Joe to fire off tons of legal briefs and citizen posse's to make sure that Ted is never allowed to run for President.

May only the purest of the pure have "Hail to the Chief" used as a greeting. May Ted Cruz be recognized for what he truly represents even if it is only 47%.
