In the article they believe the pot was put in the safe by mistake - the factory is in Mexico...this is how they are shipping it, I'll bet.

They know the cops aren't going to crawl through legitimate-looking shipments without cause, so the drug ring gets someone at a warehouse near where the drugs are to put drugs in a large item and place some sort of a mark on it, and someone at a store where the drugs are going to.

According to http://www.priceofweed.com/prices/United-States/Ohio.html low-quality marijuana in Ohio averages $167 per ounce. This stuff, it would make the first green spaghetti sauce in the history of mankind, you'd need to use so much.

and liberate some of the stash for medicinal use. However, I'd know the cops were likely looking for it already along with some bad guys I really don't want to piss off, so I'd call and turn the balance of it in.

Unfortunately, the packaging job looks really secure.

... is already doing some serious 'splainin' about how that mistake was made.

Either that, or they know damn well where it was sent and they are going to send someone to pick it up sooner or later.
