Why does a warrant for pot possession put someone on the most wanted list?

Tulsa Man Wanted On Drug Possession Charge

Tulsa Police are seeking a 27-year-old man who is their most wanted suspect for the week. Israel Nkwachukwu Wogu is wanted on a felony warrant for failure to appear on a drug possession charge.

According to arrest records, Wogu was stopped in November of 2011 for driving with a headlight out. When police ran his license, they found he had outstanding warrants and took him into custody.

They discovered marijuana in the car, in a map compartment and a shoe that was lying on the floorboard, the report states.

They were searching for a Wanted Fugitive. I immediately wondered how many fugitives were not wanted since they had to clarify the matter. A little off topic, but perhaps all the other fugitives in Oklahoma aren't wanted right now.

A task force should be formed and martial law declared.
