(6,995 posts)A hypothetical Warren/Maddow was proposed as an alternative to a hypothetical Clinton/Obama. So in a hypothetical primary, Clinton/Obama wins on experience, merit, qualifications, political chops AND charisma. They are all-world playahs. Warren and Maddow are not. Warren might be some day, and Maddow is not a politician.

(6,995 posts)What have her DU champions done? Besides saying Hillary sucks.
Is Warren "interested in becoming" POTUS in 2016?
BTW, Michelle is, very much, a politician.
You offer a Warren/Maddow ticket as an alternative to a Clinton/Obama ticket. Why?
How is Warren/Maddow any more likely than Clinton/Obama?
You're all like, " My knights beat your dragons because there are no such things as dragons."
If you don't want to play the game, then stay off the court.
P.S. Thank you for the welcome. Ha!

(6,995 posts)I just think that Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama is a stronger team in all areas of what it will take to gain POTUS and VP. ALL proposed 2016 tickets are hypothetical. So in a hypothetical matchup C/O beats W/M, which would never happen because Liz Warren would not run if Hillary runs and likely would not run regardless.
But if someone is going to dismiss those who support Hillary as being devoted to an inevitable Messiah, then shouldn't they back up the alternative choices they offer? It's kind of caddish to just leave Liz and Rachel hangin' like that after dissing Hillary like THAT. Don't you think?
For instance: me versus Bruce Lee. Someone says, Good fucking luck!
And honestly, who really gives a shit about post counts, anywhere?

While I admire M Obama, what has she done to deserve consideration?

(22,057 posts)some foreign policy gravitas she could be a righteous candidate. Right now she's a retired lawyer married to a president who works a lot on veterans and childrens health issues. Admirable, certainly, but not presidential material today.
Should she choose to seek a career in elective politics I have no doubt she could be a major player and a force to be reckoned with inside of a decade.
