Worse, it creates a reactionary amalgam by confusing “the downfall of Mubarak, Tantawi and Morsi in successive revolutionary waves beginning on 25 January and finishing on 30 June”. In so doing, they treat the revolutionary overthrow of the Mubarak dictatorship in January/February 2011 as the same as the recent counter-revolutionary coup d’état by the army command against the Morsi government.

Yep, it's all just a minor 'downfall' here and there

(please don't stone me third way in this morass. I think that a lot of folks are thinking, or are being led to think, that it's ONLY the coup or the Brotherhood and there are no other options. Whereas in reality, the coup and the Brotherhood BOTH KOWTOW TO THE SAME MASTERS. And that is the international capitalists. This shows that there ARE other options present in Egypt. And one of those options is being led by workers.
