"It's just nice to have a Catholic in the race."

Walled Lake— Republican presidential candidate Rick Santorum continued his push toward Tuesday's Michigan primary with a stop at St. William Catholic Parish in Walled Lake Friday evening.

The former Pennsylvania senator greeted nearly 1,000 people at the St. William Dads' Club 23rd annual Lenten fish fry.

It was one of several stops he's made across the state this weekend....

Deacon John Liddle said the annual fish fry draws a big crowd, but he has never seen a response like Friday.

"The kids are overjoyed," he said. "I can't be political, but it's just nice to have a Catholic in the race."

The Vatican has engaged in decades of potentially criminal conspiracy to help a whole bunch of them escape justice, and the Pope probably ought to be put on trial, but that's a different matter.

It'd also be nice if the majority of the major candidates could come out and acknowledge that, yes, Evolution is a scientific fact and no, the Earth is not 6,000 years old.

They're against war and standing military armies, Santorum, not so much.
They believe the earth is over 5 billion years old, Santorum, not so much.
They believe that feeding the poor and healing the sick is an obligation of society, Santorum, not so much.

The Jesuits are to this day trying to kill Catholicism by saving it.

The first thing I would do as Pope would be to ex-communicate every Jesuit and Opus Dei member that refused to submit in writing to my authority; it seems the special pledge that the Jesuits take isn't enough anymore.

But that would be like the president trying to get all the intelligence agencies under his direct control; ain't gonna happen.

After watching the coverage ... she quickly came to the conclusion ..."that man is NOT Catholic"

Its irrelevant .... she has always voted for Dems, but really can't understand person claiming to be Catholic and lacking a commitment to social justice
