That's what I like about DTV they have all the new channels on as soon as they launch.

I've watched a bit on DirecTV.

What I like so far is that there hasn't been a third of a screen of news crawls, stock market crawls, breaking news alerts, etc.

It is kind of nice to see a full screen of video.

17. And we are seeing stories

we would never see on the "MSM" channels. Like the story just now about the radioactive tuna found in the Pacific. I stopped buying the frozen salmon from Costco about a year ago. I suspected the Salmon had to be contaminated after seeing all the flotsam washed ashore from Fukushima.

I miss my salmon! Selfish I know, after what the poor people of Japan are facing with this disaster.

11. I noticed that Soledad O'Brian ("America Tonight") premieres tonight at nine (Eastern).

That's good to see. (They're still showing it as "CURNT" in the program guide, so I guess it'll take a day or two for Tribune Media Services to catch up.)

The internet is fast, no trouble with landline, tv works good.

The people at the bill paying office are nice too. They poke around and give me a new deal when the old special runs out.

6. Not On ATT Uverse Yet Either So I Can't Watch As Well

Everything I've read says there is a deal with ATT but so far, curiously, nothing. Ominously the channel Current was on has disappeared. Weird. Did the right wing zealot types cause ATT to breach the contract?

I'll give it a day or so but if it doesn't show up by then I'm going to find out why.

Now ATT says it will not carry AJ America because they could not reach an agreement. I think that's baloney. I think they gave in to the foaming at the mouth right wingers because the station was listed yesterday and every article I saw was that ATT had a deal with AJ America.

This really, really irritates me and I'm going to tell them what I think of them ASAP.
