DU is possibly my last connection to being a Democrat.

I would go as far to say that if not for my ability to participate in DU, I would choose Independence.

Our elected representatives are doing little to retain my loyalty.

13. Skinner owns and operates the site, he is pretty patient and fair, if you like posting here it's

best not to flame him or any other members in fact. Just don't be nasty or disrespectful, he is Admin but also a fellow DUer and a human being that would like to be treated like anyone else here.

I have no idea what any of this is about but you really only have to worry about Skinner if you broke the rules or were a special insistent kind of asshole.

Treat him and others here with respect and no one will force you to leave.
Just mind the rules we all are required to follow (even Skinner) and you will be alright.

ACLU is the best choice in this day and age in my book, the bipartisan agreement with weakening the bill of rights has many of us very concerned as well.
