Cry, the Beloved Republic.

We have to struggle with the old enemies of peace: Business and financial monopolies; Speculation, reckless banking, class antagonism; Sectionalism, (and) war profiteering. They (had begun to) consider the Government of the United States as a mere appendage of their own affairs.

And, we know now, that Government by organised money is just as dangerous as Government by organised mob.

Rec. for the truth: FDR (1936) and the Democratic Party, at it's best. Today, at it's worst.
